Christmas is a phenomenally busy time….buying Christmas gifts, wrapping, attending Christmas plays, preparing food, going to parties, writing cards, to fit that into an already busy life can sometimes put people over the edge.
But as I reflect on the busy-ness of the holiday season, I’m thankful that I’m a VA. I’m still busy, but my time is more flexible. I can go to the grocery store at 10:00 in the morning and make up the work I missed at night. I can take a break at my desk and do some online shopping and not have to worry that my “boss” is monitoring my computer logs and I’ll get fired. The freedom in being an entrepreneur is liberating.
